About Me
I am a Marketing professional with over 8 years of experience in Branding, Digital & Traditional Marketing, and Project Management, as well as extensive Video Production experience. I have proven success in developing and implementing promotional campaigns for both a global audience and locally within my hometown of Vancouver, BC Canada. I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia in IDST International Business, and also graduated from Film Production at Capilano University.
I am a native speaker in both English and Cantonese-Chinese, and can also speak Japanese at an advanced level, holding a JLPT N2 certification. I am adept in a number of core applications in Adobe Creative Suite, namely Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, and also have experience using Dreamweaver and Muse. Digital marketing and management tools that power my work include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hubspot, Apollo, Ahrefs, Hootsuite, ClickUp, and Jira.
I enjoy competitive sports and outdoor activities, and have played in recreational hockey and multi-sport leagues, competed in dragon boat races, and participated in road running events. I’m also a self-professed comic book nerd, reading and collecting countless comic books since I was 8 years old. Being a part of Tokyo 2020, where I was so actively involved in the sports realm in a global capacity, has definitely been the highlight of my life so far. With an ENFJ-A personality, I’m always learning and looking to improve my skills. My principles centre around the idea of ‘success through teamwork and trust’ and the concept of “don’t wobble“, a phrase from English writer/orator Alan Watts to describe having an unwavering mindset.
